Students

Academy Prep prides itself on the volunteer efforts of the community. We could not sustain our programs without volunteers. Annually, Academy Prep receives over 6,000 volunteer hours from parents, corporations, non-profits, board members, community members and graduates.

Daily volunteer opportunities include math and English tutoring at various times, and playing chess with students. Volunteers must be 18 years of age and must be able to commit at least one hour per week. Volunteer opportunities in an enrichment classroom, the library, administrative help, and special event help are solicited as needed. Our development team also manages fundraising activities like golf tournaments and seeks administrative support.

Before you volunteer, we’d love to have you visit campus for an upcoming Prep Talk!

Parents and families of Academy Prep students volunteer by directly contacting the school. Please call Mrs. Randolph, Administrative Assistant, at 813-248-5600.

For more information on volunteering, please contact: Luly Socias, Admissions and Scholarships Coordinator, at 813-248-5600 ext. 1111 or lsocias@academyprep.org.
