Our Centers of Excellence in Art, Music, and Chess came about almost 10 years ago as an outgrowth of our Board of Trustees Education Committee’s discussion about providing a well-rounded college-preparatory education for our students. Each student at Academy Prep engages in weekly classes in art, music, chess, which allows our students to expand their horizons beyond the academic classroom.
